Attend a book signing, or Submit an online review for a chance to win a victorian rocking horse!
I am an amateur woodworker. Throughout my life, I’ve benefited from lessons given by more experienced workers, and over the years, I’ve learned. Sometimes, the lessons were hard, and all I created was kindling.
Some twenty years ago, I attended a woodworking show at McCormick Place in Chicago. One of the artisans worked on a Victorian Rocking Horse, and I was fascinated – watching a piece of art being created before my eyes.
Volunteering at ZooWorld, Lucky and I became fast friends. I’ve always talked to animals. I’d still rather spend time with my pets than with most humans. I’m sure that reflects badly upon me, but I’m okay with it.
Readers of "From Sacred Ashes" can win the Victorian Rocking Horse.
First-time authors without a famous name must gain a following. Hopefully, my writing carries the day, but the rocking horse is a way to get people to engage at book signings.
Online reviewers of "From Sacred Ashes" can win, too!
